Four treatment platforms

Detailed chemistry for every major utility-water system.

Water-treatment programmes must be selected around feedwater quality, metallurgy, operating pressure, temperature, cycles of concentration, membrane design and microbiological risk—not simply by product name.

Why water treatment matters

Scale, corrosion, fouling and microbes directly affect plant performance.

Even a thin deposit on a heat-transfer surface can increase energy demand. Corrosion causes leakage and equipment failure. Biofilm restricts flow and shields microorganisms. RO fouling reduces permeate production and increases cleaning frequency.

Protect heat transfer

Control mineral scale, sludge and biological deposits that insulate boiler tubes, condensers and heat exchangers.

Manage corrosion

Maintain suitable chemistry and inhibitor residuals to reduce oxygen, carbonic-acid and under-deposit attack.

Control microbiology

Use biocides, biodispersants and monitoring to manage bacteria, fungi, algae and biofilm in circulating systems.

Stabilise RO output

Control scale and fouling, monitor normalised performance and clean membranes using compatible chemistry.

Treatment programme design

Chemicals work best as part of a measured control programme.

1. Analyse the water

Review hardness, alkalinity, silica, chlorides, TDS, iron, pH, microbiology and other system-specific parameters.

2. Understand the system

Record boiler pressure, cooling cycles, metallurgy, temperatures, flows, membrane configuration and operational constraints.

3. Select and dose

Choose compatible chemistry, establish initial dosage and confirm the recommended injection point and dosing method.

4. Monitor residuals

Track treatment residuals, pH, conductivity, corrosion, microbial counts, performance trends and blowdown or recovery.

5. Optimise safely

Adjust dosage only after reviewing measured system response and the relevant product literature and safety data.

6. Document results

Maintain logs of water analysis, dosage, operating data, cleaning frequency and equipment condition to verify programme value.
