Boiler water sludge is caused by salts and traces of suspended matter present in operational steam boilers and feed waters. Our boiler sludge conditioner is designed to combat the accumulation and build-up of boiler sludge as it represents a modern concept in the chemical treatment of boiler sludge. It is a synthetic polymer designed to produce light finely divided particles which are non-adherent and are easily removed with blow down. It can withstand high temperature and pressure conditions (up to 100 kg/cm2) and does not impart taste or odour to steam. These characteristics make it superior to many older natural organic treatments and it is recommended even where steam is likely to come in contact with edible products. It also has the additional feature of minimizing iron oxide deposition by reducing ferric oxides to the more desirable black oxide magnetite thus it is effective in removing oil traces in the boiler.
